Lucille M. Kleinsteiber, 86 of Johnson Creek, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center.

Lucille was born on August 9, 1930 in Marshall, WI, the daughter of Rudolph and Clara (Jana) Yelk.  She was one of 9 children.  On October 18, 1947, she married Edwin Kleinsteiber in Lake Mills, WI and the couple raised 4 sons.  Lucy was employed as Office Manager at Equity Livestock and worked there 25 plus years.  She was a longtime and active member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Parish, service with the ladies aid and taking part in her prayer group.  Lucy was a sports fan and was the scorekeeper for the Farmington Land-O’-Lakes baseball team for many years.  She loved Bingo and enjoyed taking casino bus trips. Lucy was a selfless lady, always putting others ahead of herself.  Lucy’s final act of kindness was donating her body to the UW Medical School, knowing that her earthly remains will continue to be of service.  She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by: her Sons Robert (Sharon) of Watertown, Michael (Doris) of Jefferson, John (Dolora) of Johnson Creek, and Patrick (Diane) of Watertown; 8 Grandchildren Laura (Brett), Craig (Tricia), Sarah (Nick), Lynn (Brent), Lisa (Chris), Paul (Molly), Beth, and Trevor; and 5 great-grandchildren.  Lucille is survived by a number of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Grandson Christopher, twin Great-Granddaughters Brynn and Amber, and 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of Rainbow Hospice for the loving care provided.

A memorial mass will be at 5:00PM on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at St. Gabriel Catholic Parish of Johnson Creek with Fr. David Wanish presiding.  Visitation on Thursday from 3:00PM until the time of service at the church.
