Daniel L. Straub, 48, of Fort Atkinson, died on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at University Hospital in Madison.

He was born on November 3, 1968 in Oconto to Leon and Carlene (Dake) Straub.

Daniel was a loving father, son, brother and friend. 

Surviving are his children Katrina, Nickolaus and Stephanie; his mother, Carlene Straub of Sullivan; his father and stepmother, Leon (Karen) Straub of Appleton; his former wife, Lisa Straub of Fort Atkinson; one brother, Paul (Dawn) Straub of Omaha, NE; one sister, Karen Weishan (Steve Forbes) of Anamosa, IA; three nieces, Rachel, Laura and Alyssa Weishan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He will be deeply missed.

Memorial services will be held at the Rock River Assembly of God, 651 E. Racine Street, Jefferson at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, with the Rev. Todd Tabor officiating.

There will be no visitation.
