Arlene E. Schetter, 79, of Fort Atkinson, died on Friday, February 3, 2017, at home.

Born on May 22, 1937, in Watertown, to Edward and Esther (Schoenheide) Schemm, she married Donald "Don" Schetter on February 4, 1956, in Helenville.

Arlene and Donald owned and operated Lyman Schetter floral shop in Milwaukee for many years.  She also delivered the Janesville Gazette in Jefferson for many years.

She was active in the Oakland Seventh Adventist Church and sang in the choir every week.

Surviving are her husband, Donald Schetter of Fort Atkinson; two daughters, Donell Schetter of Fort Atkinson and Kim (James) Sizer of Jefferson; two grandsons, Jason and Jerrod Madison; three great-granddaughters, Andria,  Makayla  and Shelby; two great-grandsons, Lester and Lucius Madison; one great great-granddaughter, Chevelle; one brother, Victor Schemm of Milwaukee; one nephew, Daniel; and stepchildren and step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at the Olsen Funeral Home in Jefferson at 4 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, with the Rev. Jim  Lynaugh officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. until the time of services.
