Veronica J. Lefferts

Veronica J. Lefferts, 74 of Cambridge, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center of Johnson Creek.

Veronica was born on December 3, 1947, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of James and Norma (Kelly) Rowden.  She attended grade school in the area and graduated from Springfield High School in 1965.  Diane worked many jobs throughout her life, but most recently worked in the manufacturing industry.  Some of her favorite activities include reading and watching old western movies.  She was a dedicated volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul and took great pleaser in helping other people, especially those in need.  Motorcycling was a passion and Veronica especially loved to ride with her dear friend Diane Richmond.  She will be missed.

Veronica is survived by: her children Frederick “Raymond” Lefferts, Cathleen (Brad) Danto, and Marshall Lefferts; many grandchildren; siblings; and her friends, especially Diane (Darwin) Richmond.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 siblings.
