Tina L. (Draves) Schmidt

Tina L. Schmidt, 44 of Lake Mills (formally of Watertown) passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 13, 2018.

Tina was born on June 7, 1974 in Watertown, WI, the daughter of Leonard and Pam (Elks) Draves.  She was a 1992 graduate of Watertown High School and in 2002, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Carroll College.  She worked as a para-legal at Kohler, Hart, Powell and was proud of her work.  She loved her children and they were her number one priority.  Tina could sniff out a deal and was a great gift giver.  She loved to read and always saw the best in people.   Her children remember her being generous with her time and talents; volunteering at their schools and coaching dance and cheerleading.   She enjoyed crocheting and was known to sing while driving.   Tina was a capable lady and her family and friends will miss her dearly.

Tina is survived by: her mother Pam (Tom) Caudill of Watertown, children Nicholas Rhyners-Draves, Damion Schmidt-Draves, and Alexandra Schmidt all of Lake Mills; brother Donald (Michelle) Draves of Berlin.  She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her father.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Watertown with Rev. Shane Walker presiding.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00AM until the time of service at the church.  A private family burial will take place at Bakertown Cemetery at a later date.
