Thomas Kiplinger Obituary

Thomas S. Kiplinger, 56 of Helenville, passed away on Wednesday October 27, 2021 at his home.

Tom was born on November 19, 1964, in Massillon, OH, the son of Robert and Gladys (Eyster) Kiplinger. He was a 1984 graduate of Jackson High School in Massillon, OH and worked for the past 12 years at Silgan. In his younger years, Tom was a big-time hunter and trained his own dogs. His last dog, Tieyha, was the youngest and only dog of any breed in the US to be certified and complete every classification of hunting dogs which was an accomplishment he was very proud of. One thing that Tom was known for was his ability to tinker with nearly anything. He had every tool ever made, and many of them came from flea markets or auctions where he would buy and fix just about anything. Tom never sat idle for too long and always had a project in mind. He will be dearly missed.

Tom is survived by his parents Robert and Gladys Kiplinger of Dalton, OH, sister Jill (John) Ritz of Canton, OH, nephew Christopher (Tonya) Wendell of Dalton, OH, great niece Stormy Wendell and great nephew Colton Wendell.
