Teresa M. Sanchez

Teresa M. Sanchez, 72 of Jefferson, WI passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at her home.

Teresa was born on February 29, 1948 in Calexico, CA, the daughter of Richard and Otilia (Mendez) Sanchez.  She grew up in the state of California and moved to Madison when 2 of her children were young.  In her younger years, Teresa loved to dance, and traveling was a lifelong interest.  Her family remembers her ability to cook wonderful food and her gift of serving others.  Although she worked various part-time jobs, her main vocation was taking good care of her home and family.  Teresa was a loving and understanding person who was quick to forgive, even though her anger responded equally as fast.  Teresa always wished she had more grandchildren, but cherished her only one, Marcos, dearly. 

She is survived by: her sons Richard (Diane) Lares and Anthony Camacho both of Jefferson; grandson Marcos Lares of Jefferson; siblings Edgardo (Velma) Figueroa and Francis (Robert)Tessedore both of Indio, CA.  Teresa is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Yvonne Lares (2020), and sister Patsy Figueroa.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
