Susan D. Kaare

Susan D. Kaare, 61 of Lake Mills, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at her home.

Susan was born on August 1, 1964, in Foley, AL, the daughter of Robert and Dorene (Smith) Caldwell.  She graduated from Foley High School in 1982 and studied at Falkner State College.  Susan had a heart for people in need, and she expressed that gift through her work.  She was a Special Needs Aid in various schools and facilities throughout Wisconsin.  Susan had a deep faith and a devotion to God, always generous with her time and talents, and was protective dog mom to Remy.   Her hobbies include reading, socializing with friends, enjoying the warm weather, and spending time with her family.  

She is survived by: her children Taylor (Andrew) Seong of Bristow, VA, Hannah (Freddy) Kaare of Vernon Hils, IL, and Matthew (Kristy) Kaare of Colorado Springs, CO; and a brother Gary Caldwell.  Susan is also survived by a number of other family members and friends.

Her parents preceded her in death.

A private family service will be held.
