Steven D. Schoonover

Steven D. Schoonover, 37 of Whitewater, died on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Steven was born on November 7,1982 in Fort Atkinson, WI, the son of Steven and Connie (Zunker) Schoonover. He earned his GED in 2001. Steven loved his family and included his friends in that group. He spent many hours on walks on local trails with the dog, Bowzer. He and his sister Stephanie took many drives to Blackhawk Island where they spent time in nature together. Those times together are cherished by Stephanie. He loved music, especially Metallica, and enjoyed video games. Steven liked going to casinos and enjoyed doing special things for his friends. He was kind, considerate, generous, and took time to really know the people in his circle. He was loved deeply by the people in his life and he will be missed.

He is survived by: his father Steven “Pappy” Schoonover of Whitewater; daughter Emma Schoonover of Fort Atkinson; siblings Stephanie (Joel) Schoonover-Kincaid and Johnas Schoonover both of Whitewater; nephew Jayden Lindberg of Lake Geneva and niece Kaydence Kincaid of Whitewater. He is also survived by many other relatives and close friends.

Steven is preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, 3 uncles, and 3 aunts.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
