Steven Gonzales, 65 of Fort Atkinson, died on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at The Bay at Sheridan Nursing Home in Kenosha.

Steven was born on September 1, 1957, and lived for many years with Homes for Independent Living in Fort Atkinson.  Steven enjoyed listening to all kinds of music and loved watching action movies.  Trips to the zoo were always cherished by Steven, and being outside, looking at the animals and seeing new places, was a very favorite activity.  He also attended Wisconsin Badger Camp, a program designed to give children and adults with special needs quality outdoor experiences, and Steven enjoyed himself thoroughly on every trip.

Steven is survived by his housemates, friends, and caregivers.

He is presided in death by his family.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Rock River Cemetery with Rev. Joshua Martin of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church presiding.
