Sherry K. Warwick, 77, of Lake Mills, WI, passed away October 9, 2021 peacefully in her sleep after a fierce battle with Cancer. She was born to the late Russell Edward Tetley and Icylene (Schoonover) Tetley on August 14, 1944 in Decatur, Illinois. She was a member of Jobs’ Daughters International and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1962, then went on to Brown Business College.
She began her career working for Illinois Central Railroad before starting a family. Her family was her highest priority and a source of great pride. Sherry was a long-time school bus driver at East Park Baptist Academy where she made many lifelong memories and friendships. The students she chauffeured to the many athletic events and choir concerts knew her as a kind soul, always willing to listen and offer a hug when it was needed most. Sherry raised her family to love all things Disney. Many special memories were made on the numerous vacations to the “Happiest Place on Earth”. In her final days, Sherry could be seen wrapped up in her Minnie blanket with a Mickey Mouse plush resting on her shoulder.
Sherry is survived by her husband Clif Warwick of Lake Mills, WI, daughter, Amanda (Doug) Bowling Decatur, IL son Chad (Dawn) Patrick Lake Mills, WI. Grandchildren Darian (Travis) Mendell, Devin (Katie) Bowling, Delaney Bowling, Ashli, Logan, and Tyler Patrick and 4 great grandchildren. She added 2 step-children to her family, Paula (JJ) Anderson Milwaukee, WI and Bill Warwick Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her daughter Melissa Lynch, brother Robert, and both parents.
The family will be following her wishes and having a private family function in place of a funeral and she will be laid to rest in Ocoee, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek, WI.
