Sharon L. Robinson

Sharon L. Robinson, 73 of Jefferson, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Alden Estates of Jefferson with her family at her bedside.

Sharon on born on August 18, 1950, in Madison, WI, the daughter of Walter and Olga (Hammerly) Wieland.  She attended a number of schools in south-eastern Wisconsin but graduated from Juneau High School (now Dodgeland High School) in 1968.   On May 2, 2002, Sharon married John Robinson in De Pere, WI and the couple cherished the last 21 years together.  Her interests include knitting hats, plastic canvas, collecting salt and pepper shaker, and she loved the color red.  Holiday gatherings were also looked forward to, as it was an opportunity to spend time with her beloved family and friends who enjoyed her chocolate peanut butter bars.  Sharon had a deep and dedicated devotion to her family, and they remember her for her contagions smile, her joy-filled spirit, and genuine interest in their lives.  She always had a fix-it job for her son-in-law, Mark, and was happy to help any way he could.  Sharon was loved deeply, and she will be missed.

She is survived by: her husband John Robinson of Jefferson; daughters Lori (Mark) Butry of Whitewater and Kathy (Ed) Hart of Lake Mills; stepson Scott (Shauna) Robinson of Luxemburg; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her brother Ken (Sharon) Wieland; and other family members and friends.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents and stepson Derek Robinson (2018).

A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, September 29, 2023, at the chapel of Alden Estates.  Visitation will be on Friday from 12:30 until the time of service in the chapel.
