Obituary

Shad P. Moore, 55 of Johnson Creek, WI, left his earthly home surrounded by his loved ones on April 6, 2023.

Shad was born on September 8, 1967, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of James and Dolores (Groth) Moore.  His youth was spent in Milwaukee, but graduated from Jefferson High School in 1985, when his family moved to the area after camping here for many years.  He was employed at MasterMold, Inc. of Johnson Creek for 27 years, retiring in 2017.  Shad enjoyed the outdoors but was a people person! He loved life and valued people first.. always!  His willingness to share his talent and time consistently benefited the people in his life.  His sense of humor was a defining attribute and his son Ryan, was a close accomplice.  A prankster to the end, Shad didn’t let his illness lessen his desire to make people laugh.  Shad not only appreciated people, but people deeply appreciated him! He loved and respected the mothers of his children and their spouses, a rarity and huge benefit for not only their children, but for the families as a whole.  Shad, a man of character and loved by many, and he will be sorely missed.  Shad committed his life to Christ in recent months, and his family is thankful that Shad’s struggles are over, and he is now resting in Heaven.

Shad is survived by: his children Jesse Moore of Helenville, Ryan Moore of Jefferson, and LeeAnn Moore of Tempe, AZ; siblings Jodi (Dennis) Wray of Fox Lake, Vicki (Robert) Lemke of Helenville, and James “Buddy” (Kathy) Moore, Jr. of Watertown; nieces and nephews Samantha (Zach), Amanda (Chris), Matt (Amy), and Missy; and his brother-in-law Dave Derepkowski of Horicon.  Shad is also survived by the mothers of his children Tina Cronin of Helenville, Natalie (Dennis) Lehman of Jefferson, and Michelle (Jake) O’Connor of Tempe, AZ; great nieces and nephews that were very special to Shad, and other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Heidi Moore (1987) and Terri Derepkowski (2017).

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of Rainbow Hospice, but especially to Nurse Jenny Hintz for the loving care and friendship provided.

A celebration of Shad’s life will be held at a later date.
