Roger was born on April 14, 1945, in Stoughton Wisconsin, the son of Gerald and Helen (Suchomel) Chadwick. He was a 1963 graduate of Deerfield High School where he played football and baseball, was Homecoming King and served on Prom Court. He enjoyed being active and also played on the Deerfield Home Talent Baseball team and Fast Pitch Softball team for Bridge Lounge. Roger worked for Marshall Public Schools for 38 years before retirement. He also served on the Marshall EMS for many years as a volunteer and was a trustee at the Marshall United Methodist Church. Roger and Cecil were honored to be the parade marshals in the 2016 Marshall Firemen’s Parade. In addition to his public service, Roger enjoyed nature and was sure to spend as much time outdoors as he could. He could often be found watching the birds out back on his porch or working on his yard, especially with his lawn tractor. Roger also loved fishing and hunting and shared these hobbies with his son and grandchildren. He was a member of Wings over Wisconsin for over 40 years and Fishing Hall of Fame for 50 years.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, wife Cecil, and brother Dennis Chadwick.
The family would like to thank Jesse and David James for their years of friendship and for all their help. The family would also like to thank Marla and John Hellenbrand for all their support and help.
