Robyn Rae Deike, 54, of Johnson Creek, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at her home.
Robyn was born on March 5, 1969, in Waverly, IA, the youngest child of Ray and Ruth Deike. She received her bachelor’s degree from Northwest Missouri State and her master’s degree from University California Riverside. She was employed by US Cellular as a Lead Developer.
Robyn was a poet, a gourmet chef, a mixologist, an art collector, a cat rescue expert and an avid player of board games. Her generous hospitality included regular groups of game players at her home. She added tree after tree to her home’s landscape and hiked many of Wisconsin’s parks. Her creativity and love for her friends defined her life.
She is survived by her siblings Ron (Wei-Lin Jung) Deike of Rochester, MN; Randy (Lori) Deike of Olympia, WA; Russ Deike of Olympia, WA; Rick (Pat) Deike of Cedar Falls, IA; and Rebecca (Norbert) Langenfeld of Hastings, MN. Robyn was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by many nieces and nephews and a great many friends.
A memorial celebrating Robyn’s life will be held at a later date.
