Ralph N. Mosner, 80 of Cambridge, WI (formerly of Aurora, IL) passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek, WI.

Ralph was born on September 30, 1944, in Chicago, IL, the son of David and Alva (Nelson) Mosner.  He graduated from Homewood-Flossmoor High School in 1962 and earned a business degree from Drake University.  On November 26, 1994, he married Lara Young in Lyons, IL.  Ralph worked as a Division Manger for a non-profit and retired in 2006.  An avid Chicago sports fan, Ralph enjoyed following the Cubs and Bears closely.  He spent time outdoors; biking, snowmobiling, birdwatching, and Ralph was extremely well traveled. He was grounded in his faith and served his home parish, Our Lady of Mercy in Aurora, IL, by administering the Holy Eucharist and teaching catechism. Ralph was particular about how things were done, but the people in his life appreciated his commitment to excellence.  He lived a life that most would be envious of, accomplishing much, while being a wonderful example of grace, humility, and generosity.

He is survived by: his wife Lara Young of Cambridge; children Jill (Dr. Alan) Stocks of Franklin Park, IL, Eric Mosner of Lake In The Hills, IL, Noah (Amy Clemment) Mosner of Algonquin, IL, and Spencer (David Gonzalez) Mosner of Naperville, IL; brother Lawrence (Judy) Mosner of Lake Forest, IL; as well as many other family members, friends, and his faithful companion, his dog Finn.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronald (Nancy) Mosner.

A celebration of Ralph’s life will be held in early May, 2025.
