Penny L. Larson, 73, of Whitewater, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Glenwood Memory Care at Mulberry in Whitewater.
Penny was born on November 5, 1951, in Madison, WI, the daughter of Leif and Leona (Papin) Larson. She graduated from Middleton High School in 1970 and earned an associates degree from Madison Area Technical College. She was employed at Madison Kipp Corp., a local tool and dye maker, as a secretary, retiring in the mid 2010s. Penny’s interests included clogging classes, bowling in leagues, reading all sorts of books, and nature. She especially loved dogs and being at the zoo. She was a dedicated grandmother, who cared deeply for grandchildren. She will be remembered for her kindness and playful sense of humor.
She is survived by: her children Andrew Cade of Edgerton and Jennifer (Mike) Winter of Lake Mills; 4 grandchildren Zack, Donny (Anna), Katie, and Trisha; and other family and friends.
Penny is preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of Penny’s life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Warner Park in Madison, from 11:00AM until a time of sharing at 2:00PM. Penny’s remains will be placed at Middleton Junction Cemetery in Middleton, prior to her celebration, on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 9:00AM
