Patrick A. Kimbro, 55 of Jefferson, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at his home.
Patrick was born on May 15, 1968, in Fort Atkinson, WI, the son of Frederick and Patricia (Endl) Kimbro. He grew up in the area and graduated from Lake Mills High School in 1986. He was employed as an automotive mechanic for many years, a job he enjoyed, but was happy to be recently retired. An avid outdoorsman, Patrick spent many days fishing and referred to himself as a “River Rat”, fishing along the Rock River. He camped throughout Wisconsin, but his favorite camp spot was in his back yard. He played Rock & Roll loud and spent many hours hanging out in his garage. Patrick was a “tinkerer” and could fix most things and loved playing Candy Crush on his phone. A caring, fun, adventurous father who helped those in need at every opportunity. He was good guy who was loved many and will be missed.
Patrick is survived by: his mother Patricia Weber of Tomahawk; son Joshua Kimbro and his mother Wendy Hinkforth and her children Mitchell (Bri) Walling, Heather Walling; son Jeffrey Kimbro and his mother Amanda Kimbro; step-siblings Tony (Judy) Kimbro of Vandalia, IL and Robert (Sheila) Kimbro of Brownstown, IL. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Patrick is preceded in death by his father, brother Donald Kimbro in infancy, and his step-brother Jeffrey Kimbro.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00PM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at The Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home with Rev. Joshua Martin presiding. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00PM until time of service at the funeral home.
