Patricia L. Mattiacci, 86 of Sullivan, passed away on Tuesday April 26, 2022, at Fort Healthcare Center in Fort Atkinson.
Patricia was born October 20, 1935, in Waukesha, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Doll) Schirmacher. She graduated from Pewaukee High School in 1952. On January 11, 1956, Patricia married Felix Mattiacci in Waukesha and the two shared 45 years together until his death in 2001. For a number of years, she worked as a secretary at Dillaber’s Locksmith Service in Waukesha. Patricia had a passion for serving those in need, especially underprivileged youth, and spent more than 3 years as a foster grandparent at the Ethan Allen School for Boys in Delafield. She would spend afternoons playing cards with the boys and talking with them, and many called her ‘Granny’. Patricia was a giving, generous woman who was a hard worker and valued her family above all else. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her life, and she spent as much time with them as she could. In her later years, Patricia spent her birthdays at the casino playing slots followed by a family lunch and these times were cherished by everyone. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, and Patricia will be missed by all those who were touched by her life.
Patricia is survived by: her children Michael (Linda) Mattiacci of Sullivan and Traci Mann of Sullivan; grandchildren Ranee Schlieve, Tammi (Adrian) Tengler, Sarah (Matt Costigan) Mattiacci, Nicole (Trevor) Deck and Andrew (Megan) Mattiacci; great-grandchildren Cayden, Aubrey, Stella, Grayson, Ava, and Kennedy. Patricia is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, husband Felix Mattiacci (2001), and two brothers Charles and Rolland.
