Patrice A. "Pattie" Martin

Patrice A. “Pattie” Martin, 64 of Jefferson, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.

Pattie was a “Leap Year Baby”, born on February 29, 1960, in Racine, WI, the daughter of William and Beverly (Wilda) Martin. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith and graduated from Cary-Grove High School in Cary, IL in 1978.  She moved to Raleigh-Duram, NC in the early 2000’s and worked in the Mortgage Industry there, retiring in 2009.  Pattie was extremely generous with her time and resources.  She was known to give rides to those walking or impaired and would truly give up her last dollar if someone needed it more than she did.  She was a people person.  She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

She is survived by: her siblings Tracey Smith of Jefferson and Matt (Jessie) Martin of Big Flats; 2 nieces and a nephew Angela Soto, Ryan Martin, and Alex (“Tex”) Niedringhaus; great-nieces and nephews, other family members, friends, and her beloved cats “Lulu” and “Bo”.

Pattie is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Mike Martin in 2020.

A celebration of Pattie’s life will be held at a later date.
