Oscar Alonso-Coria, 65 of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek. 

Oscar was born on March 21, 1960, in Coscomatepec de Bravo, Veracruz, Mexico, the son Miguel and Alegunda (Coria) Alonso.  He grew up in Mexico, attending school there and moved to the United States in 2001.  He enjoyed spending his valuable time with friends.  Oscar was a very social and outgoing person and was known for his vibrant and friendly personality.  He loved, both playing and watching baseball and soccer.  He insisted in celebrating his birthday with friends and family and was a wonderful uncle, playing with his nieces and nephews and taking them to the lake often. 

He is survived by: his parents, 6 sisters Marta, Maricella, Antonia, Elvia, Socorro, Angelica, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5:00PM on Friday, November 7, 2025, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Jefferson, with Fr. Jorge Miramontes presiding.  Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00PM until the beginning of the 4:15PM Rosary Service, all at the church.  Friends are invited to the Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home for a meal following the Mass. 

Oscar Alonso Coria de 65 años, residente de la ciudad de Fort Atkinson, falleció el día martes 4 de noviembre de 2025 en el Centro de cuidados paliativos Rainbow Hospice en Johnson Creek.  

Oscar nació el 21 de marzo de 1960 en Coscomatepec de Bravo, Veracruz, México, hijo de Miguel Alonso y Alegunda Coria. Creció y estudio en México y se mudó a los Estados Unidos en el 2001. Disfrutaba pasar su tiempo con sus amigos. Oscar era una persona muy sociable y extrovertida, conocido por su personalidad entusiasta y amigable. Le encantaba jugar y ver beisbol y futbol. Le gustaba celebrar su cumpleaños con amigos y familiares, era un tío maravilloso que le gustaba llevar a sus sobrinas y sobrino al lago con frecuencia. 

Le sobreviven sus padres y sus 6 hermanas Marta, Maricela, Antonia, Elvia, Socorro y Angelica, sobrinos, sobrinas y demás familiares y muchos amigos. 

La misa de cuerpo presente se celebrará el viernes 7 de noviembre a las 5 de la tarde en la iglesia católica de St. Lawrence en Jefferson, Wi oficiada por el padre Jorge Miramontes. 

 La visitación será el mismo día y lugar comenzando a las 3 pm seguido por el Santo Rosario a las 4:15 pm. 

Al término de la misa se les invita a los amigos a pasar a la funeraria Olsen-Gibson ubicada en 221 S Center Ave, Jefferson, Wi para una comida.
