Mike Costilla

Mike Costilla, 88 of Jefferson, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison.

Mike was born on February 1, 1938, in Corsicana, TX, and graduated from high school there.  He served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring after 20 plus years of dedicated service.

In his spare time, Mike enjoyed many rounds of golf, was a skilled bowler, and loved to play cards.  He was an animal lover, spending 15 precious years with his cat “Chubbs” before his death and most recently with cat “Lilly”.

Above all other interests was his dedication to his family and their well-being.  He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by many family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, siblings, and other family members.

Mike will be laid to rest at the Southern Wisconsin Memorial Veterans Cemetery in the coming days.
