Mark J. Sayre

Mark J. Sayre, 67 of Jefferson, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Alden Estates of Jefferson.

Mark was born on March 21, 1957, in Watertown, WI, the son of Neil and Gladys (Jacobs) Sayre.  He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1975 and married Nicki Blumenberg on October 27, 1979, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Lake Mills.  The couple began farming together in Jefferson and Mark also worked in the Camera Industry as a Tech.  The couple had 2 sons, Eric and Craig.  Mark was an outdoorsman and sent a lot of time camping, fishing, hiking and deer hunting.  The family recalls many camping trips throughout the state and the good times had.  Mark was a kind man who was generous with his time and talents.  He was a handy guy, building his home himself.  Mark will be missed by those who loved him.

Mark is survived by: his wife Nicki Sayre of Jefferson; sons Eric Sayre and Craig (Julie) Sayre both of Fort Atkinson; brother Chris (Leah) Sayre of Athens; and other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
