Marilynn C. Whitehouse (nee Muske), 80 of Jefferson (formerly of Wauwatosa) passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Jefferson Memory Care in Jefferson, WI.

Marilynn was born on October 11, 1942, at Providence Hospital in Dearborn, MI, the daughter of Florian and Justine (Walkuszewski) Muske.  She grew up in Michigan and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1960. 

Marilynn worked as a Dental Assistant for many years and loved the industry. She also enjoyed crocheting, baking and was an animal lover, having many pets throughout her life. Though her favorites were her cats, Pickle and Muffin.  She practiced the Catholic faith and passed holding her Mother’s rosery. Above all other interests, her family was the focus of her life as she truly loved her children and grandchildren. Marilynn spent the last several years of her life at Jefferson Memory Care and was well cared for there.  She made many friends among the staff and other residents over the years.

Marilynn is survived by her children: David (Janell) Whitehouse and Dianne Whitehouse both of Eau Claire, Donna Whitehouse of Oconomowoc, and Daniel Whitehouse of West Allis; 4 grandchildren Erika, Ryan, James and Seirra; and 4 siblings Jim Muske of Dearborn, MI, Jerry Muske of Grass Valley, CA, Cheryl (Keith) Love of Farmington Hills, MI, and Cathy (Steve) Sarner of Nevada City, CA.  She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Dianne Marshall.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to staff of Jefferson Memory Care and St. Croix Hospice for the loving and thoughtful care provided.

A private celebration of Marilynn’s life will be held in Eau Claire by her children and grandchildren this coming week and a private spreading of ashes at a later date. In remembrance of Marilynn’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of American Cancer Society.
