Kathleen A. Wisniewski

Kathleen A. Wisniewski, 77 of Johnson Creek, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Aurora – Summit Medical Center, following brief illness.

Kathleen was born on September 14, 1948, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of James and Louise (Hinkle) Ford.  She grew up in the Chicagoland area and married James Wisniewski on November 4, 1967, in Chicago.   The couple had 2 children and enjoyed 54 years of marriage, until his death in 2021.  Kathy enjoyed a simple life and enjoyed spending time in her home with her sister.  She also enjoyed visiting area flea markets, searching for treasures.  Kathy will be remembered for her calm and capable personality, and will be missed.

Kathy is survived by: her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great, great-grandchildren; and her sister Linda Pollard of Johnson Creek.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, children Carol and Larry, and her brothers James, Jr., Earl, Melvin, and John.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at a later date.
