Kathleen R. Larsen, 68 of Watertown (formerly of Jefferson) died on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Watertown Health Care Center - Bedrock.

Kathleen was born on March 12, 1954, in Watertown, WI.  She grew up in the area and Married Leo Larsen, Jr. and the couple had 2 children.  They later divorced and Leo passed away in 2015.  Kathleen worked a number of jobs in the area and most recently attended church at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown.  Helping others was a passion and Kathleen took the opportunity often.  She volunteered at area senior centers, making sweaters, gloves, and scarfs that she happily donated.  She enjoyed spending time with her special friend Larry Krause until his death in 2010. Kathleen interests included flowers, animals in general, but had a special fondness for guinea pigs.  She was an avid reader and never missed a Riverfest.  Her son remembers her as a loving mother, and she will be missed.

She is survived by: her son Chris (Cynthia McGuire) Larsen of Jefferson; and a number of siblings and other relatives.

She is preceded in death: her daughter Brenda Sue Larsen in infancy, siblings, former husband, and special friend Larry Krause.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00PM on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home of Jefferson with Rev. Ray Bezanson presiding.  Visitation will be Monday from 10:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home.  She will be buried at St. Henry’s Catholic Cemetery of Watertown Following the service.
