August 12th, 1979--March 6th, 2025

Katherine “Katie” Elizabeth Stock, 45, of Lake Mills, WI, peacefully succumbed to cancer on March 6th, 2025, in her home surrounded by family and flowers.

Katie was born on August 12th, 1979, and grew up in Muskego, WI with her father Bill, and followed in her sister Amy’s footsteps. While attending Bay Lane Middle School, a parent-teacher conference would eventually lead to two families combining as one where she later became the daughter of Gertie, and sister “Big Katie” to “Little Katie” and Andrew.

Katie attended Muskego High School where you could find her flying high in the air cheerleading on the sidelines of games, or in the top of the batting order on the softball field. She attended UW-Oshkosh for a few years and continued cheerleading and won the National Cheerleading Championship.

Katie moved to Chicago where she worked in a variety of restaurants as a knowledgeable and talented server. Katie felt right at home serving high-end food and beverages-she always loved the finer things in life!

Later, Katie’s career blossomed when she began learning about and working with flowers. A few years later she bloomed into a thoughtful, silly, and loving mother to her two daughters Veda and Sloan. Eventually moving to Lake Mills, WI, Katie spent the remaining years of her short life raising her daughters and fur babies, Pickles, Leonard, and Betty - all the while spreading joy and laughter everywhere she went.

Katie is survived by her daughters (girls rule!), Veda and Sloan, parents, William and Gertie, sisters Amy and Katrina, brother Andrew, niece Chloe, nephew Cade, many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends - including “The Carols”.

Potted flowers or plants to carry on Katie’s passion are appreciated and/or contributions for her daughters Veda and Sloan. Contributions can be made out to William or Cynthia Stock which will be used to establish a college fund for the girls.

A private family memorial service will be held at 6:00PM on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home in Jefferson.  A public visitation will be on Thursday from 3:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
