Julie Randa Obituary

Julie A. Randa, 62 of DeForest, WI, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at her home.

She was born on September 4, 1960, in West Allis, WI, the daughter of Roy and Carol (Smerinski) Randa.  She grew up in West Allis and graduated from Nathan Hale high School in 1978.  She married Gary Klamrowski on September 29, 1984, and the couple had 2 daughters, but later divorced.  Julie was employed as a medical billing specialist for most of her working years.  She loved being in a car and appreciated better and most, the freedom that a vehicle offers.  She especially loved trips to the Sheboygan area, spending time on the lakefront and exploring the area’s many lighthouses.   Music was a passion, and her daughters attribute their love of “grunge rock” to their mother.  Julie was dedicated to her family and spoke to them daily.  She instilled the importance of general health and activity to her daughters at a young age and was an advocate for overall wellness and a healthy lifestyle.  Her kindheartedness and playful demeanor helped Julie make a friend, regardless of her location or situation.  Even though she will be deeply missed, her family is thankful for her devout and unwavering faith and are comforted knowing that she rests in Heaven.

Julie is survived by: her parents Roy and Carol Randa of Wausau; daughters Candace (Dan) Rockwell of Sun Prairie and Amanda (Mike) Kevin of Sullivan; grandsons Colton and Cameron; and her sister Laurie Ziemer of Nevato, CA.  She is also survived by her nephew Eric Ziemer and many friends.

A celebration of Julie’s life will be held in the early summer of 2023.
