Judith A. Bowers, 79 of Delafield, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Jefferson Memory Care.
Judy was born on January 25, 1944, in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of Russell and Eleanora (O’Brian) Stipe. She grew up in St. Paul and graduated from high school in 1962. On November 28, 1967, she married Fredrick A. “John” Bowers and the couple had 4 daughters and enjoyed 54 years of marriage until his death in 2021. Judy and John worked side by side with eachother in Chippewa Falls, WI, later moved to Arizona, and had many adventures together. After years away, the couple returned to their home state of Wisconsin. Judy loved to travel, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed crafting projects such as needlepoint. She was a hardworking woman who took care of her family well and will be missed.
Judy is survived by: her daughters Renee (Scott), Sandy (Scott), and Jeannette; her 7 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Rita, and her siblings.
As per her wishes, no formal services will be held, but her family is comforted know that she is no longer suffering and is at peace in Heaven.
