Jesse C. McKenzie Obituary

Jesse C. McKenzie, 47 of Jefferson, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025 in his sleep.  


Jesse was born on March 18, 1977, in Calais, ME, the son of Alan and June (Hall) McKenzie.  Jesse lived in Waukesha, until age of 24.  Jesse moved to Mukwonago to marry and raise his family for 20 yrs, with former wife Twila.  Jesse was in the masory business before joining Piledrivers and Millwrights Union Local 2337 and worked as a Journeyman Millwright until his passing. He enjoyed many years with Price Erecting and P.W. Walsh and Company.  Jesse enjoyed fishing and baseball with his son. Recently Jesse enjoyed traveling with his beloved Rachel to Punta Cana, New Orleans, Nashville, Mexico and Florida.  Jesse was a hardworking, sometimes quiet, adrenalinejunkie, with a big heart and will be missed by all who knew him.  


He is lovingly survived by his son Aiden McKenzie of Eagle, stepchildren Zachary Ursem of Napa, CA and Corin (Jordan)Hans of Waukesha; siblings Michael (Kathy) McKenzie of North Fort Meyers, FL and Katie McKenzie of Charlotte, NC; girlfirend Rachel Ovadal of Jefferson; many neices, nephews, as well as other family and friends.  


Jesse is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kimberly Walendowski.  


A celebration of Jesse’s life will be held at: Fairview Sports Bar and Banquet Hall, 711 W. Racine Street, Jefferson, on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 4:00pm – 7:00 pm.
