Jeffrey E. Staude

Jeffrey E. “Jeff” Staude, 59, of Jefferson passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Jeff was born on March 26, 1964 in Fort Atkinson to Eugene and Donna (Rowe) Staude. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1982. Jeff married Shannon Jackson on November 4, 2000 in Fort Atkinson. Together they enjoyed 22 years of marriage and raised a wonderful son, John. Jeff worked at Americold shortly after graduating from high school until his time of illness in July of 2022. He also helped run the family farm with his father and brother. He helped out on the weekends when he could with hauling milk, at that time for Bob Anton. Jeff was a member of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran church in Rome. He was a dedicated and hardworking person who was always willing to lend a hand when needed. Jeff was loved by many.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Shannon and his son, John of Jefferson; Mother, Donna Staude of Jefferson; Sister, Penny (Jeff) Hachtel of Jefferson; Brother, Dan Staude of Rome; Brother Steve (Melanie) Thone of Fort Atkinson; and Mother-in-law, Shirley Jackson of Fort Atkinson. He is also survived by his nieces: Ashley and Nicole Hachtel; and Stephanie and Mandy Thone along with a great-nephew, Kace Scheberl. He is survived by many Aunts and Uncles along with many Cousins. Jeff was predeceased by his Father Eugene Staude and his Father-in-law Robert Jackson.

Per Jeff’s wishes no formal service will be held. A private graveside service will take place at St. Luke’s Cemetery in Rome. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
