Jeffrey R. Mamayek

Jeffrey R. Mamayek, 63 of Juneau, WI, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at his home.

Jeff was born on October 1, 1956 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Ralph and Mary Ann (Branmueller) Mamayek.  He attended and graduated from Pius High School and entered trade school and an apprentice program.  After apprentice completion, he began working at his grandfather and father’s business, earing Journeyman status with the Local 18 Sheet Metal Workers Union.  He took over the business, MFC Mechanical, and spent more than 40 years working in the Milwaukee area, retiring in 2014.  On September 6, 1997, he married Rita Coon in East Troy and the couple moved to the farm in Juneau soon after.  Jeff was a hard worker and after his daily labor was complete, he enjoyed watching western and war movies.  He was a talented metal worker and could build anything.  Jeff was a smart man who thought out his projects thoroughly and built them to last.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, traveling, living in the country, and dreamt of seeing the US in his RV.  He was a dedicated provider and loving husband and father.  He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by: his wife Rita of Juneau; children Nickolaus Mamayek and Mellissa Mamayek; sisters Nancy, Pat, and Chris; and is also survived by many relatives and friends.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Douglas Mamayek.

A memorial service in Jeff’s honor will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Watertown Community Church with Rev. Keith Young presiding.  There will be no visitation at the church.
