Erik A. Lessard, 51 of Fort Atkinson, WI, went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, January 17, 2026, while at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.

Erik was born on June 25, 1974, in Milwaukee, WI, and attended East Troy High School. He met Jeanne Masters in 2008, and the couple were married on June 13, 2009 in Hebron, WI.  He began a nearly 30-year career as a machinist, and purchased his business, Technicut, LLC, in 2016. Although an extremely talented and hardworking man, Erik’s priority was his family.  Erik, Jeanne, and their son Luke enjoyed time together vacationing, playing board games, and riding bikes as a family.  Erik insisted on being an informed man, whether it be current events, politics, or economic markets, Erik was constantly trying to improve himself by staying up to date in many areas.  Erik knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.  He showed Christ’s love for him by the way he served others.  He sought opportunities and acted when other’s needs showed themselves – supporting missionaries and providing for people, even strangers.  Erik’s life serves as a beautiful example of Christian living, and his family and friends will miss him dearly.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Lessard; son Luke; siblings Belinda, April, Beth (Dave), Sarah, Jacob, and Matthew; his brothers-in-law John (Missy) and Jim (Kerrie); his father-in-law Rodney Masters; foster parents; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Erik is preceded in death by his mother-in-law Helen Masters and other family members.

The family thanks those who cared for Erik over the years. Each played an important role in shaping his journey, offering support, guidance, and compassion that made a lasting difference.  Those people include Tom and Doris, Bonny and Tom, Carol and Royce, and others.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, January 23, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Fort Atkinson, with Rev. David Neal and Rev. Rhon Roberts presiding.  Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church.  Erik will be laid to rest at Hebron Cemetery following the funeral.
