Elizabeth S. Sosa Obituary

Elizabeth S. Sosa, 40 of Jefferson, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 1, 2024, in Madison, WI.

She was born on July 22, 1983, in Oconomowoc, WI, the daughter of Barbara (Barnhart) Sosa.  She attended Jefferson High School and earned her diploma in 2001.  Elizabeth had 6 children and she loved them dearly.  Her kids are notably well-behaved, and meals shared with family were times enjoyed by all.  She had a talent for all things arts and crafts and loved to cook.  She worked as a CNA both in nursing homes and home health, a job she loved and was proud of.  She had a heart for people and was always willing to share her resources with those in need.  Elizabeth will be remembered for her kindness and generosity and although she struggled, she was loved by many, and she will be missed.

She is survived by: her maternal grandparents Delbert and Delores Maass of Watertown; her mother Barbara Sosa of Jefferson; her children; siblings Manuel (Lizbet) Sosa of Colorado Springs, CO, Carmen (Eddy) Garcia of Jefferson, and Maria (Jim) Kennedy of Frisco, TX; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her sister Olivia Sosa in 2007 and other family members and friends.

She will be laid to rest at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery of Watertown.
