Elizabeth E. “Betty” Miller, 89 of Jefferson, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Sunset Ridge in Jefferson.

Betty was born on July 18, 1935, in Watertown, WI, the daughter of Emanuel and Laura (Miller) Ladien.  She graduated from Jefferson High School and married Raymond W. Miller on October 9, 1954, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson.  The couple had 7 children and enjoyed 54 years of marriage until his death in 2009.  Betty worked a number of jobs in the area, but her occupational calling was as a mother and homemaker to her family.   The family owned cottages on Tuttle Lake and Lake Emily and the family spent many summers there; boating, swimming, having cookouts, and being together.  Life on the lake was where Betty shined, and seeing her family eat, play, and enjoy each other was good for her soul.  She was known to skip dinner to save her appetite for dessert and Betty loved singing in the church choir.  Betty was loved and apricated by many and her family is thankful that she now rests in Heaven.

She is survived by: her children Sherry (Ernie) Hernadez of Jefferson, Mary Lynn Miller of Fort Atkinson, Tom (Connie) Miller of Jefferson, Keith (Sue) Miller of Jefferson, Denise (Dale Kramer) Miller of Jefferson, Tim (Nicole) Miller of Jefferson, and Laura (Mark) Bingham Port Washington; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters in infancy, and her sister Joyce Griffin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, July 7, 2025, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Jefferson with Fr. Jay Kalivea presiding.  Visitation will be on Monday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church.  She will be buried at St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery following the Mass.
