Edna M. Reganess

Edna M. Reganess, 84 of Helenville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, March 2,  2026, at her home. 

Edna was born on February 4, 1942, the daughter of Charles and Mildred (Schutte) Green. She worked as a manager at various banks, including Bank of America. On January 15, 2000, Edna was united in marriage with August “Butch” Reganess in Rock Hill, SC, and the couple spent 26 treasured years together. Edna loved the Lord, her family and gardening dearly. 

Edna is survived by: her husband August “Butch”; children Mike (Denise), Mark (Aimee), Diana, Donna (Scott), and Dean; grandchildren Nick, Noah, Roman, Nova, and 19 others; and siblings Charlie, Lyle, Linda, Betty, and Elaine. 

Edna is preceded in death by her parents,3 bothers Charles Jr., Dennis and David, 3 sisters Lois, Marlene, and Delpha and her late husband Darrel Benson.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home of Jefferson with Pastor Gary Tenbroke presiding. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Edna will be laid to rest at the Town of Farmington Cemetery following the service.
