Douglas L. Price, 81 of Jefferson, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Alden Estates of Jefferson.

Doug was born on January 26, 1943, in Appleton, WI, the son Winfred and Inez (Wahler) Price.  He grew up in Dale, WI and attended school there and attended UW-Madison for 1 year.  Soon after, Doug made his way out west, landing in Los Angeles, California.  In California, Doug worked in publishing, for Carroll Shelby, and for AT&T.  Doug was a homebody and spent most of his free time tending to his plants and projects or spending time with his pets.  This is not to say he didn’t have friends; Doug was a guy who was appreciated by many for his kindness.  He retired and moved back to Wisconsin in the mid-2000’s, where he most recently worked for the University of Wisconsin Hospital system and at Fitchburg Farms.  Doug was his own person, living his life on his terms, and he will be missed.

Doug is survived by a brother Steve Price and his family who reside in Aiken, SC, other family members, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
