Doris J. Middlebrooks

Our dear Mother, Doris J. Middlebrooks peacefully passed away on July 20, 2023, at her home, at the age of 77.  She was an incredibly caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who cared deeply for her family and friends. Doris did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She had a huge heart and was always the first to offer help to family, friends, and her church. Doris will be fondly remembered for all the heart she shared.  When her time came, she carried herself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before her. She will be missed immensely.

Doris enjoyed her beloved cats over the years, cooking, sewing, watching movies, singing in the church choirs, volunteer work, decorating for the Christmas season, strawberry ice cream and chocolate shakes, excitement in purchasing new jewelry pieces, and sharing her belief and strength with GOD.  Doris also enjoyed being outdoors in parks and taking in beautiful Lake Michigan.

Throughout her lifetime she resided in Wauwatosa, WI and Jefferson, WI.  Immediate surviving family members include her husband Thomas Middlebrooks, her son Anthony Middlebrooks (wife Jules Bruck), and her two daughters Audrey Sabatini and April Henkelmann (husband David Henkelmann).  She also has two grandchildren, Jakob Middlebrooks, and Asher Sabatini. Doris is preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Sylvia Warwick (Sylvia Bagrowski), her twin brother Dwyane Warwick, and her sister Carol Nowak.
