Donald Jay “Don” Yeadon, 68 of Dunbar (formerly of Watertown), passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at his home.
Don was born on January 17, 1957, in Marquette, MI, the son of Donald and Cathrine (Strouf) Yeadon. He attended school in the area and married Pamela Kestila on December 9, 1977, in Iron Mountain, MI. The couple had 2 children. Don accepted Jesus Christ as a child and followed Him closely throughout his life. Don’s heart’s desire was for people, near and far, to come to know Christ and accept eternal salvation that only comes through Him. He had a deep understanding of grace as a concept and applied that biblical truth often. He referred to himself as “a Northwoods, Jack-Pine Savage”, a title he claimed proudly. All who knew Don are thankful that his earthly race is complete and he now rests in Heaven with his Lord.
Don is survived by: his wife of 47 years Pam Yeadon; daughter Stacey (Dan) Meyer, son Jonathan “Jon” Yeadon; grandchildren Chloe, Owen, Jack, and Allie Meyer, Audree and Wilder Yeadon; siblings Anne (Dana) Pennington, Marilyn (Tom) Benson, Mark (Jocelyn) Yeadon, Melody (Tim) Harder, David (Pati) Yeadon, Ruth (Heath) Bowland, and Rachaelle (Bob) Curran. Don is also survived by a number of other family members and many friends.
A Christian memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Northwoods Chapel (W8046 Aspen Ln. Pembine, WI 54156). Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00AM until the time of service at the church.
