DoWayne Shields, Jr. Obituary
DoWayne Lee Shields, Jr., 69 of Jefferson (formerly of Madison), passed away on May 2, 2026, at home battling an illness.
He is preceded in death by his parents DoWayne, Sr. and Crystal (Zimmerman) Shields. DoWayne served his county as an Infantryman in the US Army.
DoWayne is survived by his brothers William (Terri), Warren (Wanda), Joseph, and Jason (Stacie). He also leaves behind a number of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
DoWayne enjoyed fishing, hunting, and a good campfire. Times spent with family and friends were always cherished by all parties and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
