Charles J. Smallish

Charles J. Smallish, 88 of Sullivan, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center of Johnson Creek surrounded by his grandchildren and youngest daughter.

Charles was born on January 26, 1936, in Milwaukee, the son of Raymond and Sylvia (Zakrewski) Smallish.  He graduated from Messmer High School and began his career as a Tool and Die Maker.  He married Lorna Paton in the 1950’s in Milwaukee and the couple had 4 children. 

Charles is survived by: his children Linda McCabe, Robert Smallish, and Lori (Bihag) Patel; 7 grandchildren Caitlin, Allison, Hilary, Connor, Makenzie, Chandan, and Callan; and his siblings Karen Bruckner and Paul Smallish.  He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife in 2015, his daughter Catherine, and siblings.

As per his wishes, no formal services will be held.
