Calie A. Slaski

Calie A. Slaski, 57 of Whitewater, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Fort Atkinson Hospital.

Calie was born on December 6, 1964, in Madison, WI, the daughter of Richard and Veronica (Pueck) Allen.  She grew up in the Madison area and attended school there.  Calie was married in 1996 and had 4 children and later divorced.  She worked in the manufacturing industry for much of her working years, and most recently was an Operator Inspector at Aptar in Mukwonago.  Calie was a talented cook and enjoyed eating BBQ.  A good bon fire was always appreciated and she enjoyed attending many fairs and festivals.  She took great pride in her lawn and tended to her garden often.  Calie gave many crocheted gifts and was looking forward to making her expected grandson a blanket for this birth.  Her family remembers her stubbornness and cherishes the memory of her fiery spirit.

Calie is survived by: her children Caden (Dustin Patterson) Slaski of Greenfield, Tera (Kyle) Clasby of Florence, CO, Veronica (Robert) Baker of Racine, and Eion Slaski of Seattle, WA; grandchildren Sean, Scarlett, and baby Robert on the way; siblings Linda Hossman, Tom (Deana) Allen, and Penny Allen; and dear friend and “sister” Kathy Wiesmueller of Whitewater.  She is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, sister Yvonne Boehme, and brother Mark Allen.

An open-house in celebration of Calie’s life will be held from 3:00PM – 6:00PM on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home in Jefferson.
