Bryan T. Pohren, 64 of Jefferson, passed away surrounded by love on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek after his battle with bone cancer.
Bryan was born September 29, 1957, in Cicero, IL, the son of Earl and Ellen (Pfaff) Pohren. He attended Steinmetz High School in Chicago and graduated in 1975. For over 20 years, Bryan worked as a press operator at MasterMold in Johnson Creek. On August 11, 2003, he married Cindy Stanton at the Jefferson County Courthouse. The couple enjoyed fishing for catfish with cane poles, visiting Blackhawk Island to spend time with family and friends, and camping. Cindy and Bryan shared 18 loving years of marriage until her death in 2021. In his free time, Bryan enjoyed watching football and was a true Bear’s fan. He never missed the opportunity to have a good time and could often be found Herbie’s Bar. Bryan could also make the best homemade pizzas and omelets. Above all else, Bryan loved the outdoors, his family, his cat Sassy, and he will be deeply missed.
Bryan is survived by brother Scott (Cheryl Wisch) Pohren of Johnson Creek; children Danyell (Erick) Cobos of Jefferson, Dannie (Shauna Ulrich-Stanton) Stanton of Janesville and Crystal (Albino Reyes) Stanton of Jefferson. Bryan is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.
Bryan is preceded in death by: his parents; wife Cindy Pohren; siblings Linda Pellitteri, Jeff Pohren, and Kim Mckee; nieces Crystal and Kimberly Mackovich; and nephew Daniel McKee.
A celebration of Bryan’s life will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Duner’s Blackhawk Club in Fort Atkinson.
