Bruce L. Peterson

Bruce L. Peterson, 76 of Fort Atkinson, WI, was called home on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

He enjoyed his previous job of being a mechanic most; as one of his hobbies was working on cars. He adored spending time with his family; especially his eight grandchildren. He looked forward to NASCAR season naturally with his love for cars followed by the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers seasons.

Bruce is survived by his wife Mary Peterson (Hoof), daughters Kristie (John) Neeman, Ashley Stahl (Aron Leber), Audra Stahl and eight grandchildren; Trystan Neeman, Dominic Stahl, Dawson Zamora, Alyxandria Stahl, Jace Neeman, Rowan Leber, Amelia Scheid, Liam Scheid; Brother-in-laws Mark Hoof and Michael (Terri) Hoof and Sister-in-law Mona (Reggie Threat) Hoof.

An open house honoring Bruce’s life will be held from 5:00PM – 7:00PM on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home in Jefferson.
