Brigitte C. Weisheim, 86 of Sullivan, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at The Marquardt of Watertown.

Brigitte was born on June 12, 1938, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, the daughter of Alfred and Hildegard (Heinrich) Ultes.  She graduated from high school in Germany and married Robert Weisheim on April 13, 1956, in Baumholder, Germany. Bob was serving his country  as an MP in the US Army, stationed in Germany.  The couple had 3 children and enjoyed 66 years of marriage until his death in 2022.  Brigitte enjoyed all needlework, especially knitting, crocheting, and quilting.  She was an avid gardener and deeply appreciated flowers.  Brigitte never met a dog she didn’t like, loved to sing, and was an active member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Rome, Wisconsin for many years.  Above all other interests, Brigette was committed to her family.  She cooked and baked for them often and took pride in doing her very best for the people she loved.  Although she will be missed, her family is comforted in knowing she rests in Heaven.

Brigitte is survived by: her children Ellen Ziemer of Hartford, Robert (Deborah) Weisheim, Jr. of Watertown, and Susan Wegner of Jefferson; 7 grandchildren James (Jessica), Michelle (Kris), Robert (Michelle) III, Samantha (Travis), Angel (Adam), Tony, and Lucas; 12 great-grandchildren Evan, Austin, Mason (Becca), Peyton, Logan, Cheyenne, Riley, Brigitte, Charlotte, Maverick, Ava, and Ashton; and a great, great-granddaughter Aleah.  Brigitte is also survived by a number of other family members, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Linda Javorkuti, and brother Rudolf Ultes.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Rome with Rev. Dan Kilts presiding.  Visitation will be on Thursday, from 10:00AM until the time of service at the church.  She will be laid to rest at Hoffman Cemetery in Rome following the funeral service.
