Brandon Lentz Obituary

Brandon L. Lentz, 35 of Jefferson, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle.

Brandon was born on November 20, 1987, in Madison, WI, the son Tyler Washington and Patricia Lentz-Washington.  He graduated from Occupational Fresh Start in Madison in 2005 and met his bride, Brittany Schechter in 2013.  He told his mother soon after meeting Brittany, “I’m going to marry that girl with the blue eyes.”  Brandon loved life! Everything he did was done with zest and when he arrived, his presence was known! Time spent fishing was time cherished and he loved to eat.  He had an endearing ability to attract people and his family remembers his loving and light-hearted gestures.  People were his passion and he made friends no matter the situation.  Brandon was a family man and a wonderful provider.  He was a hard-working guy who started his successful flooring business, Lentz Flooring, LLC, in 2018.  Children, not only his own, but his nieces and nephews, LOVED to be around him.  A big kid himself, he was always to first to jump in the water, ride a bike, get his nails painted, or play dress up.  Never lacking in confidence, he loved a good joke.  A very able man who was always dependable, could fix anything, and helped his family and friends whenever he was needed.  Brandon was an exceptional son, husband, father, uncle and friend to many whose legacy lives on.  He will be dearly missed.

Brandon is survived by: his wife Brittany Lentz of Jefferson; children Raniyah, Nathan, Dominic, and Ava; his mother Patricia Lentz-Washington of McFarland; brother Calvin Lentz of McFarland; aunts “Sissy” Lentz of McFarland, Betty (Bruce) Pagel of Jefferson, and uncle Don (Mary) Lentz of Fort Atkinson; step-siblings Michelle, Katherine, Leonard, and Vanessa “Tosha”; siblings-in-law Austin, Jamie, Krystal, Jared, Connor, and Alyssa and his late brother’s wife Shantiara; his mother and father-in-law Julie and Jason Wollenzien of Fort Atkinson; and grandmother-in-law Cindy Fowle of New Berlin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his father and his brother Joseph Lentz in 2022.
