Barbara S. Schuld Obituary

Barbara Susan Schuld of Fort Atkinson died peacefully May 31, 2026 at home after a short battle with Leukemia. She was born in Watertown on May 13, 1953 to Raymond and Violet Jaeckel.

Barbara loved her flowers, gardening and painting ceramics. She was a member of St. Peters Church in Helenville. She was also part of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 166 in Fort Atkinson. Barbara was active with Red Hat Society and was Queen to the Sizzlin Sweethearts group 630266 Fort Atkinson area. She volunteered at the Senior Center in Jefferson. She loved sprucing up their flower pots. Barbara also loved to travel with her Husband. She traveled the 50 states and 19 countries some while her husband served in the US Army


Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, her daughters Renee Sullivan, Jennifer Thostenson (Steve), Holly Boschult. Her grandsons Cody and Riley Thostenson, Devin Schuld, Hunter and Mason Boschult, her brother Tommy Jaeckel. Many relatives and SizzlenSweethearts.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Violet Jaeckel, and brother Brian Jaeckel.

Visitation will be held at St. Peters Church in Helenville 9 to 11am and Funeral service will be at 11am on Monday June 15, 2026. Olsen Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Burial will be St. Peters church cemetery.

Memorials may be to St. Peters Church in Helenville or the Senior Center Activity Center in Jefferson.
