Barbara Nodolf

Barbara A. Nodolf, 91 of Jefferson, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 in her home.

Barbara was born July 11, 1929 in Argyle, WI to Harlow and Leila (Uren) Gierhart. She attended school locally and graduated from Argyle High School in 1946. She went on to attend some college classes as well. On December 18, 1948, Barbara married William Nodolf in Argyle and the two shared 44 years of marriage together until his death in 1992. During her life, she worked as an office manager in various industries including textiles and retired in 1990. Barbara enjoyed spending time with family, and one of her favorite pastimes was reading. She also enjoyed creating miniature displays and dollhouse scenes.

She is survived by: her sons Donald (Maria) Nodolf of Orangevale, CA and Robert (Tammie) Nodolf of Dowagiac, MI; sisters Cynthia (William) Strampe of Wausau, WI and Jessie (Eldon) Fransen of Rockford, IL, brothers Harlow (Audrey) Gierhart of Mauston, WI, and John (Jackie) Gierhart of Indianapolis, IN; and grandchildren Angela, Justin, Amanda, Shannon, Elizabeth. Katherine and Andrew.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Terry, and brother Roger Gierhart.
