Arlene L. Gac

Arlene L. Gac, 93 of Jefferson, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Sunset Ridge Memory Care of Jefferson.

Arelene was born on March 18, 1931, in Westfield, WI, the daughter of Leo and Rose (Gruber) Welter.  She grew up in the Milwaukee area, attended and graduated high school there, and married Syvester Gac on July 14, 1951.  The couple had 3 sons and enjoyed 68 years of marriage until his death in 2019.  A couple of Arlene’s favorite activities were playing all sorts of card games, and she was a talented knitter.  Being the mother of 3 sons, Arlene was known for her whit, ability to give and take a joke, and her patience.  She will be missed.

Arelene is survived by: her son Todd (Lisa) Gac; grandson Alex Gac, daughter-in-law Sue Gac; and friends Roger and Kathy Mathews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Tim and Tracy and Tim’s wife Kristy.

Arlene will be interned at Wisconsin Memorial Park of Brookfield at 11:OOAM on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
