A'myuir Trumel Geter

A’myuir Trumel Geter, 15 days old, of Milwaukee, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital of Milwaukee.

A’Myuir was born on November 2, 2022, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Mason Geter and Bailey Dempsey.  Although his life was short, he was loved deeply, and his grandmother has memorialized him with these words: “Tears fill our eyes as theses words are being written.  Our new little love went with Jesus today.  He fought as hard as he could, but he could no longer battle.  He went to sleep in Jesus today, November 17, 2022.  He was only 15 days old.  Our family is thankful for support as we lay him to rest.”  - Kimberly Nelson – Maternal Grandmother

A’Myuir is survived by: his parents Mason Geter and Bailey Dempsey of Milwaukee; siblings Maleigh, Myia, and Mason Jr. Geter all of Milwaukee; maternal grandmother Kimberly Nelson of Bayside and the wife of his paternal grandfather Tamarah Geter of Brown Deer; paternal grandparents Dawn Dempsey of Jefferson and Guy Dempsey of Fort Atkinson; maternal great-grand parents Edna and John Weatherall of Milwaukee; A’Myuir also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.

Preceded in death by: his paternal great-grandparents Robert and Lydia Geter; paternal grandfather Robert Geter; maternal great-grandparents Glen and Shirley Dempsey; and maternal great-grandmother Charlene Ortelle.

A celebration of A’Myuir’s life will be held at a later date.
